As a neurosurgeon I provide medical assessment of adults with acute concussion/mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) and those with persistent post- concussion symptoms. I provide education, guidance, and medical clearance to help my patients make a successful return to work, sports, school and other activities they enjoy. When needed I arrange diagnostic tests (e.g MRI, x-rays) and referrals to multi-disciplinary specialists to optimize care of my patients. My clinical practice is largely devoted to pediatric concussion and TBI but I do care for adults with concussions and traumatic brain injuries sustained in work, sport, military service and other accidents through the Pan Am Concussion Program.
